Stoneware Ornament Workshops
Come make some ornaments with us: In this one-day, 1.5 hr workshop, participants can create ornaments from their own blank slab of stoneware clay. We can carve, slip trail, sculpt, stamp, etc. Bring your imagination! These make perfect gifts and gift tags. You can pick up finished work in about two weeks time.
Expect to make several pieces.
All levels welcome, kids ages 8+ welcome with an adult who is also signed up.
Tuition is $80 per person.

This 8-week course focuses on all the basics of pottery making. Students will learn hand-building, using a potter's wheel for both throwing and trimming and a variety of surface decoration and glazing techniques. Classes are small enough to accommodate some tailoring to the interests of the group.
Classes meet once weekly for 8 consecutive weeks from February 4 through March 25, 2026 Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm.

Hand-Built Ceramic Birdhouse Workshop
Monday, February 9th 6-8pm
In this one-day, 2 hr workshop, participants will learn the basics of making a decorated hand-built birdhouse from a slab of clay. From construction to stamp decoration to creating a cozy home for your favorite winged friends you will create your very own unique birdhouse.
All materials are provided but feel free to bring your own stamps!
Birdhouses will be fired and dipped in glaze.
You can pick up finished work in about three weeks time.

Hand-Built Ceramic Birdhouse Workshop
Monday, February 23rd 6-7:30pm
In this one-day, 1.5 hr workshop, participants will learn the basics of making decorated hand-built bells from a slab of clay. From construction to stamp decoration to creating a beautiful chime you will create your very own unique bells.
Students should expect to make 2-3 bells. All materials are provided but feel free to bring your own stamps!
Bells will be fired and dipped in glaze.

Clay Therapy Groups

Our dear friend and licensed therapist, Shanna Townley will be offering Clay Therapy Groups starting this fall at our Local Pottery Studio. Clay Therapy is a hands-on approach to personal growth and healing. No previous clay experience or artistic inclination necessary.

Open Studio Session
Every Tuesday from 5:30-8:30
& Saturday from 10-1.
You must pre-register.
Join us for a 3 hour open studio to get some additional time in the studio. Want to finish a project or work on some glazing? Or maybe this is the space for your regular studio practice. An instructor is on-hand to assist but should not be expected to fully instruct any technique so students are required to have taken a 4 or 8 Week Beginner/Intermediate session or must be currently enrolled in order to participate.
You can pick up your finished work after we fire your pieces for you. This takes three weeks.
Open studio is available (almost!) every Tuesday from 5:30-8:30pm, slots open on an ongoing basis, occasionally on Saturday mornings from 10-1. Scroll through and select your date(s) for attendance.
Tuition is $60.00, materials and firing are included, with some size limitations.

-This registration secures your place and first months payment
-Tuition is $160/month (4 classes), materials and firings are always billed separately based on volume. A $20 deposit for materials and firings is required.
This class is on a waitlist basis.
